The high-resolution transfer technology allows the printing of images at up to 1200 dpi, ideal for particularly detailed images. Transfers can be made using the conventional hot technique for bonding on all types of surfaces, even semitransparent substrates, in which case they provide a tattoo effect. They can also be applied cold, using the method specifically developed for temporary customisations; in this case, the transfer is just pressed on with a finger. This method can also be used to personalise diaries or other school-bag items.
